The Shippenville Ambulance Service has begun its annual membership drive.
Letters were sent out to people in the ambulance service’s coverage area, which includes Shippenville Borough; Elk, Paint, Washington and Knox townships; the East End Road area of Beaver Township; and the Venus area in Pinegrove Township.
Membership letters did not make it to all service areas, specifically Washington Township residents with Tionesta addresses and Elk Township residents with Knox addresses.
To cover those areas and for anyone who would like a membership, representatives will be at the Shippenville and Washington townships fire halls from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Anyone who wants a membership but can’t make it to the fire halls on Saturday should call (814) 782-3233 on that day only and a membership application can be mailed.
