Clarion-Forest VNA plans grief recovery group

The Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association hospice program will offer a grief recovery group for adults beginning Sept. 22 and running through the holidays.

The group will meet every other Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the conference room at the office at 271 Perkins Road, Clarion.

Prior utilization of services with the Clarion Forest VNA hospice program isn’t required in order to participate in the group.

Those who wish to participate should call (814) 297-8360 to register for the group.

Reorganizing one’s life after the trauma of a loss is the primary focus of the group. Topics will address understanding what loss does to a person, healthy grieving, embracing a new normal and making meaningful connections.

Masks and screening for COVID-19 are required. There is no charge to attend the group.
