Preparation work for the resurfacing project on the Wayne Richard Weaver II Bridge (Toby Bridge) along Miola Road (Route 1005) will begin today in Clarion Borough.
There will be one lane with flagging at both the bridge and Firemans Road with daylight lane closure only.
Beginning next week through the end of October, traffic on Miola and Firemans roads will be maintained with alternating one-way traffic signals or flaggers as crews complete bridge preservation work including approaches, painting, downspout repair, overlay and various concrete repairs.
Contractor Swank Construction Co. of New Kensington will be completing the $2 million project.
