CATE to host vaccinations today

Community-Accessible Testing and Education will provide free COVID-19 vaccinations and education from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 at the Cornerstone Church of Clarion, 3655 East End Road in Shippenville.

Individuals may book an appointment online to receive a vaccine by visiting www.CATEmobileunit.com. There is no cost and no insurance or ID is required.

Latino Connection’s mobile unit called CATE is mid-way through its vaccination tour which consists of more than 100 events across the Commonwealth.

Vaccinations are safely administered through approved medical professionals who will be on-site at each event. This is the first dedicated vaccine mobile clinic in the state of Pennsylvania.

Services are available on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-registration is required and can be completed on the website.

Social distancing and masking guidelines will be followed at all times. Services and resources are offered in both English and Spanish.
