CLARION – The Clarion Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2145 will hold a Veteran’s Day service at 11 a.m. Nov. 10, at the VFW located on Liberty Street in Clarion.
This year’s speaker is Capt. Jonathan Guelzo.

FOXBURG – Allegheny-Clarion Valley School will hold their annual Veteran’s Day program starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, with a continental breakfast in the high school large group instruction room for veterans and their guests. RSVP is requested before Nov. 3, for the breakfast by calling Julie Raybuck at (724) 659-4661, ext. 4103.
At 10 a.m. a Veteran’s Day program will be held in the A-C Valley High School auditorium.
A “Salute to Veterans” concert, under the direction of Scott DiTullio will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the high school. Admission is free.
Veterans who were called for active duty and did not graduate with their high school class, or those who are a relative of a deceased veteran who did not graduate with their high school class, applications for an “honorary diploma” are available in the A-C Valley High School office by contacting Megan Dehart on or before Wednesday, Nov. 7, at (724) 659-4661, ext. 3101.
Donations of canned coffee will be accepted at both programs for the Mechling-Shakely Veteran’s Center.

CLARION – In honor of Veterans Day, Clarion Area School District will celebrate those who have served their country as members of the military from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, in the high school’s auditorium. The school would like to invite veterans and their family members to participate in the event.
The guest speaker will be Dr. David Hartley, an Army Special Forces veteran and distinguished professor at Clarion University.

CLARION – Immaculate Conception School will hold a Veteran’s Day assembly beginning with breakfast at 9 a.m. Nov. 10, followed with a program at 10 a.m., in the Meisinger Center.
Breakfast is free for all for all veterans and their spouses. The program is open to the public.

KNOX – Keystone High School will host its Veterans Day program at 10 a.m. Nov. 10 in the high school auditorium with lunch for veterans to follow.
Keystone Elementary School will host its Veterans day program at 2 p.m. Nov. 10.

TIONESTA – West Forest Schools will honor veterans during a Veterans Day assembly at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the high school gymnasium.
All veterans, family and friends are welcome to attend.
This event is open to the public. Community members may park in the back of the building and enter through the high school gym lobby.
Coffee, punch and light refreshments will be available for all veterans following the assembly.
