Dedication ceremony set Friday for Utica school library

From staff reports

A dedication ceremony will be held Friday at St. Stephen’s Utica school to open its new library.

The event is set for 5 to 6 p.m. A reception with light refreshments will follow.

The library will be dedicated in honor of Levato Jacobs Thomas, a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps who served during World War II. Her family will be on hand at the dedication ceremony.

The school is part of Glade Run, which provides mental health, educational, cultural and autism offerings in school, community and home settings to more than 4,000 individuals each year throughout western Pennsylvania.

St. Stephen’s Utica is a licensed private school serving students in grades 1-12 with special education needs.
