CLARION – Joy Wilsted, a former area teacher, will offer a workshop and give a reading of her newly published book for Immaculate Conception School second and third graders at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Clarion Free Library.
Wilsted published a book titled “Ima Butterfly,” which will be available for sale at the workshop.
Students interested in nature will learn the science concepts of metamorphosis while they listen to the story about a boy and a caterpillar who are transformed by believing in themselves.
The reading will be held in the children’s room at the library.
