Election discussion set Wednesday in Clarion

 Clarion University will host a panel discussion Wednesday about the presidential election.

The event will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Suites on Main North Theater on the Clarion University campus.

The panel will include Gregory Clary from the university’s department of rehabilitation and human services; Jeffery Diamond, history department; Jim Lyle, communication department; Jane Walsh, sociology department; and Kevan Yenerall, political science.

The panel will discuss election coverage, the various branches of government and how they relate and work together, and possible policy changes under the new administration.

A brief question-and-answer session will be held after the discussion.

The event is being hosted by the university’s department of social sciences, the office of student affairs, the student senate and the university Republicans and Democrats.
