The annual Clarion Cheers and Beers Walk is scheduled Friday. About 20 vendors will be participating this year. There are 16 downtown businesses hosting vendors from out of town as well as two local microbreweries.
Several downtown restaurants will stay open later and/or are creating special menu items to walk with or eat while waiting at the different locations.
Tickets can be obtained at the Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry, Northwest Bank, from a Chamber board member or from one of the host businesses that are participating.
Tickets are $25 in advance for the 5 p.m. slot, $30 in advance for the early bird 4 p.m. slot, $30 at the door for regular and $35 at the door for early bird.

The walk is sponsored by Northwest Bank and is an annual fundraiser to help pay for the fireworks for the “I Love Clarion” celebration in July.
