The purpose of the meeting is to solicit feedback on VA operations, as well as provide the opportunity to be updated on current events at VA Butler. VA staff will be on hand to listen to veterans and their families, and provide Veterans with eligibility and enrollment information, as well as other health care program information.
Town hall meetings will be held quarterly and offered at different times and locations to accommodate as many people as possible.
Flu clinics
Meanwhile, VA Butler Healthcare has scheduled two fall flu clinics in Clarion. A flu clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Clarion County VA Outpatient Clinic, 56 Clarion Plaza, Suite 115, Monroe Township. Another clinic is slated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at VFW post 2145, 603 Liberty St., Clarion.
Veterans not enrolled for VA care may receive their flu shot if they take a copy of their DD214. They may also receive their flu vaccine from their VA provider. More information is available by calling (724) 285-2223.
