SCI Forest Superintendent Randy Irwin said a full-scale exercise has been scheduled for today that will simulate a major emergency at the prison, which will be locked down and operating under emergency procedures.
In addition, other law enforcement and emergency responders will be participating in the exercise.
The community is reminded that this an exercise and there is no cause for alarm due to the presence of a large number of law enforcement personnel in the community.
