Foxburg festival to be held Oct. 9

The annual Foxburg Art, Wine and Food Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.

The festival will kick off with a concert by TAKE3 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in Lincoln Hall.

The group offers “high-energy performances” of music from a variety of genres.

Tickets for the concert cost$25 for adults, $20 for members of the Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts and $5 for students.

The festival will feature a variety of artisans and crafters offering handcrafted items for sale.

Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be available during the event at local businesses, and there will be a Chinese auction at Foxburg Pizza.

There will be food vendors lining Main Street.

Foxburg Wine Cellars will offer more than 30 varieties of wine along with accessories and gift items.

Music will be provided by Brandon Rae Music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Max Schang Band from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Richard Eustice & Friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

There is no admission fee for the festival.

Free shuttle service will be provided from the Allegheny-Clarion Valley Elementary School located along Route 58.

All motorized vehicles should park at the school.

Handicap-accessible parking spaces will be available closer to the event location.
