Christine Totten of Englewood, Florida, a former longtime resident of Clarion, will mark her 100th birthday Wednesday.
She was born Aug. 12, 1920, in Heidelberg, Germany.
Totten is a retired professor of languages at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a published author.
Her husband, Dan, also taught for many years at Clarion.
