Forest Co. bridge project plans on display

TIONESTA – Plans for the replacement of the Elm Street bridge in Tionesta Township, Forest County, will be on display starting today at the Tionesta State Fish Hatchery Visitor Center.

The bridge carries Route 62 over Tubbs Run in Tionesta Township.

The plans will be on display through Wednesday, Jan. 25, during visitor center hours at the hatchery from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

The hatchery is located at 172 Hatchery Lane, Tionesta.

The work is part of PennDOT’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.

This bridge to be replaced is referred to as JV-9 and is one of 558 bridges being replaced under the project. The improvements to the bridge will result in temporary occupation and permanent use of Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission property.
