Maintenance work on Nebraska Road in Green Township, Forest County, will require daylight closures starting next month, according to PennDOT.
Employees of PennDOT’s Forest County maintenance unit will replace several pipes beneath the roadway. The work is scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 3.
During the work, closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
Nebraska Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with Sage Road to the intersection with Guitonville Road.
The work is expected to be completed in early September.
PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers.
