Clarion Free Library sets January ‘Story Times’

From staff reports

The Clarion Free Library will hold the storytime program in the month of January for children interested in stories, songs, and crafts related to the season.

Specifically, the Storytime program is held weekly at 10 a.m. in the library for preschoolers (ages 2 through 5) but older and younger children are welcome.

The following is the schedule for January:

Friday, Jan. 7

The theme of storytime is snowmen stories. Children are invited to hear stories, sing some songs, make a puffy paint snowman, and have some fun.

Friday, Jan. 14

Enjoy reading stories about winter clothing. Discover what to wear in the cold, do the winter pokey, hear some stories, make a craft, meet up with your friends or make some new friends at this storytime.

Friday, Jan. 21

Visit this storytime and hear stories about polar bears. Additionally, they will share stories and songs as well as make polar bear paper bag puppets.

Friday, Jan. 28

This week at storytime, the theme is penguins. Children will hear penguin stories and make a penguin craft.

Miss Jean looks forward to seeing you at the library where children will have fun and make new friends.
