Clarion career center students advance to state competition

Clarion County Career Center students Taylor Cooper, from Allegheny-Clarion Valley, and Joshua Gagne, from Clarion-Limestone, won gold medals in the District 10 SkillsUSA competition.

The Clarion County Career Center had 15 students participate in the District 10 SkillsUSA competitions which were held Jan. 8 in Harmony and Jan. 12 in New Castle.
Cooper won first place in cosmetology and Joshua Gagne won first place in information technology service.

Cooper and Gagne have now qualified to participate in the PA State Leadership SkillsUSA Conference being held in April in Hershey.
