Several programs on tap at Tionesta library

The Sarah Stewart Bovard Memorial Library in Tionesta is expanding its programs and offering more opportunities for the public.

Here is a rundown of the programs happening in May at the library:

May 7 — CareerLink will provide a presentation on stress management from noon to 1 p.m.

May 8, 15 and 22 — Oil Region Tech will offer free computer/cell phone/tablet or other technical training from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Call to make an appointment or drop in.

May 8 — Micky Stevenson will conduct a basket making workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $20 and all materials are supplied.

Call the library to reserve a seat.

May 8 and 22 — Story time at 11 a.m.

May 15 — Book club at 6 p.m.

May 17 — A representative from state Rep. Kathy Rapp’s office will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

May 18 — Historic presentation at 11 a.m. with Terry Janosik of Forest County Outback Presentation on the tanning industry.
