Church to host ‘active shooter’ seminar

An Active Shooter Preparedness and Response Presentation for all communities of faith will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on July 18 at the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in the Sigel Civic Center located at 120 Schoolhouse Road in Sigel.

The main presenters for this event are: Bob Winters, CPP of Protective Security Advisor, Pittsburgh U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Tracey Zents, director of Jefferson County Department of Emergency Services.

Those persons who should attend this presentation are: pastors, rabbis, priests, clergy, lay people, church staff, Sunday school teachers, board members, ushers, greeters, custodians, elders, deacons, any servant-leader and any faith.

There is no cost to attend.
