The Clarion Conservation District will hold a workshop on conservation practices community members can implement in their backyards.
The workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at the CCD office at 249 S. Second Ave., Clarion. Registration is free, and the workshop will be held outdoors and social distancing should be observed.
Some topics to be covered are rain gardens, composting, rain barrels and no-till gardening. Participants will be able to take a rain barrel home.
