1 reported dead in Warren house fire

WARREN (AP) — One person has died in a house fire in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Warren County Coroner Jerry Borden says he doesn’t plan to release the victim’s name until after more family members are notified later Monday.

The fire was reported in Warren, about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters entered the house looking for possible victims to rescue, but had to retreat when the roof collapsed. They found the victim dead when they inspected the house again after the fire was out.

A state police fire marshal was investigating the cause.
