Edgewood Heights, WRC Senior Services’ beautiful community perched on a hillside overlooking the scenic Redbank Valley, recently promoted Zachary Snyder, PCHA, as the assistant administrator at Edgewood Heights.
Additionally, Highland Oaks named Ashley Buzard, a native to New Bethlehem and a familiar face to WRC, as administrator. This facility is a three-story personal care community surrounded by the woodlands of the Pennsylvania Wilds and just off of State Route 68. Highland Oaks is the ideal central location, within a mile of downtown Clarion.

Snyder, relocating from Monaca; a suburb outside of Pittsburgh, comes to WRC with years of experience in personal care.
Snyder started working for WRC full-time in 2020. He is a certified personal care home administrator. Snyder received his Bachelors of Science in business administration from the University of Tennessee and the Slippery Rock University.
Snyder stated, “Growing up in the senior care industry is what gave me passion for the aging population. I grew up helping my dad in personal care homes in the kitchen.”
Edgewood Heights in New Bethlehem, offers private and semi-private suites, moments from the shops and restaurants on Broad Street in New Bethlehem.
Highland Oaks
Buzard is a licensed LPN and PA certified personal care home administrator. She has experience in various roles within WRC such as; resident care coordinator specialist, LPN-charge nurse, and most recently the personal care home administrator at Edgewood Heights for over five years.
In 2019, Buzard participated in the Leading Age PA’s Fellow in Leadership program. This program helped her become a more effective leader.
Buzard stated, “With my transition to Highland Oaks, I hope to enhance the lives of the residents and provide a supportive working environment for the staff.”
