Union High School commencement speaker announced

Union High School has announced Neil C. Scott, a 2009 graduate from the school, as its 2023 commencement speaker.

He graduated as the University of Pittsburgh’s highest-ranking finance student. He also received awards for being in the top 2% of all Pitt students based on undergraduate GPA.

He then worked at PNC Bank’s corporate headquarters in Pittsburgh for two years.

After two years at the bank, Scott attended Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he earned his juris doctorate in 2017.

He has worked as an associate attorney at Jones Day, a large international law firm.

He lives in Pittsburgh along with his wife, Kristine, and their two children. He is the son of Ray and Susan Scott, of Rimersburg.

Union High School will hold its graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 26, in the high school gymnasium.
