UHS to perform ‘’The Wedding Singer’

RIMERSBURG – Union High School will perform the musical, “The Wedding Singer,” with three performances at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9, in the high school auditorium.

Tickets cost $5 and will be available at the door.

The stage crew includes David Gibson as director and Cindy Culp as the assistant director for the production. Brittany Gauger is the choreographer, Jamey Cyphert is sound technician, Peyton MacKinlay is student sound technician and Noah Vereb will be on lighting.

Michelle Ballas and the high school art department will design and construct the sets and Lisa Hummel is the pit conductor.

The cast includes Casey Confer as Robbie, Aleisha Craig as Julia, Sierra Herold as Holly, Gabe Rupert as Sammy and Jesse Rosario-Adams and George.

McKayla Dietz has been cast as Grandma Rose, Nick Tomarello as Glenn, Brianna McCullough as the secretary, Gabrielle Smith as a guest and Alexia Culbertson, Vanessa Reddick, Anika Vogle and Madison Meuller-Howell as impersonators.

Also taking the stage is Natalia Alfonso as Crystal, Taylor Adams as Donatello, Timmy Singer and Reagan/Bum, Veronica Bartoe as a waiter, Amy Henry as Angie and Samantha Runyan as Linda.
Rounding out the cast is Elizabeth Gruver as a clerk, Kaylee Singer as an airline attendant, Jada Zitsman as the bride and Austin Eaton as Ricky.
