Shippenville Methodist hosts community days event

From staff reports

SHIPPENVILLE – Shippenville United Methodist Church will host its annual summer Community Days event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 3 and 4 at the church along U.S. Route 322 in Shippenville.

The event is open to the public and includes an outdoor sale, games and craft activities for kids. Rada products also will be available.

The event also provides adults the chance to reminisce with old school friends, neighbors and acquaintances. Pull up a chair in the shade and remember “the good old days.”

Other activities are under consideration.

Lunch is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days, with a menu including sloppy joes, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips, desserts and drinks.

Spaces are still available for participating in the community outside sale.

Anyone interested in selling their good condition items at the sale should contact Jody Frazier at 221-4481 for more information.
