No one hurt in Perry fire

From staff reports

There were no injuries in a fire that broke out at 619 Barger Hollow Road in Perry Township at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department First Assistant Chief Rod Alworth.

By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, Alworth said the structure was “already very well on the ground. It was burnt down before we got there.”

Alworth said no one was at home at the time of the fire, and he does not know the origin of the blaze.

Volunteer fire departments from Parker, Callensburg, Sligo and Rimersburg also responded to the scene, Alworth said.

Emlenton Area Ambulance Service responded to the scene, as well, according to Clarion County 911.
