The Knox Volunteer Fire Company is holding the Little Firefighters contest.
Babies under 36 months who live in the Knox Volunteer Fire Company service area (Knox Borough, Salem, Beaver and Ashland Townships) are eligible. Previous winners of the contest are not eligible.
For registration, include; the baby’s name and birthdate, parent’s name, a contact phone number and the child’s address and township or borough.
Voting will be held Monday, July 31 through Friday, Aug. 18 at Farmer’s National bank in Tom’s Riverside in Knox. Only votes cast at the bank will count toward contest winners. All proceeds benefit Knox Volunteer Fire Company.
Winners will be announced at the Knox Horsethief Parade on Aug. 19. All participants are encouraged to attend announcement ceremony and parade. Meet at the Fire Hall 45 minutes prior to parade start.
