The Knox Horsethief Committee has released the following activities for Horsethief Days, planned for Aug. 11 through 19.

Saturday, Aug. 11

8 a.m.: Softball tournament at Knox ball fields

Pre-registration and a mandatory meeting for all team captains will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 in the Knox Fire Hall. Contact Jason McMillen for more information at 221-8310.

Keystone High School Basketball Boosters will hold the Horsthief Shoot-Off at Knox Community Park.

Keystone High School Cross Country Boosters will host a 5K and Fun Walk at Keystone Elementary School.

The Knox Fire Department will be selling Firemen’s Hot Sausage at the Knox ball fields.

Sunday, Aug. 12

8 a.m.: Softball tournament at Knox ball fields

The Keystone High School Basketball Shoot-Off will continue.

11 a.m.: Rod & Gun Club raffle at Clarion County Rod & Gun Club

5 p.m.: Community picnic and vesper service at Knox Community Park

The Knox Fire Department will be selling Firemen’s Hot Sausage at the Knox ball fields.

Monday, Aug. 13

5 p.m.: Bingo at the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club

Tuesday, Aug. 14

6 p.m.: Corn Hole Tournament on Main Street in Knox. Tournament registration begins at 5 p.m. at 512 Main.

6 p.m.: Chili Cook-Off at the Clarion County Rod & Gun Club

Wednesday, Aug. 15

4 to 6 p.m.: Community Picnic at Clarion County Rod & Gun Club. The picnic is free and open to the public.

6 p.m.: Tractor races

Tractor racing registration and a meeting begins at 5 p.m.

7 p.m.: Music by Dead Level on the Main Street stage in Knox

Thursday, Aug. 16

9 to 10 a.m.: Senior Citizens Free Breakfast at the Knox Presbyterian Church

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Community yard sales

3 p.m. until sell-out: Chicken and ribs BBQ at Clarion County Rod & Gun Club

5 p.m.: Knox Lions Club Bike Race sign-up and race

The Power Wheels Derby will follow.

7:30 p.m.: Music by Lonesome Bob on the Main Street stage in Knox

8 p.m.: Bed Race and Obstacle Course Challenge on Main Street in Knox

9 p.m.: Music by Ashleigh Bennett on the Main Street stage in Knox

Friday, Aug. 17

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Community yard sales

3 to 9 p.m.: John Winkler Memorial Car Show

3 to 9 p.m.: Sons of the American Legion brisket BBQ dinner at Legion Hall

The dinner is open to the public.

5 p.m.: Legion Riders Chapter 720 Bike Night on East State Street

5 to 9 p.m.: Wine festival at the Knox Fire Hall

6 p.m.: Guts and Glory tractor pulls held behind Knox Fire Hall

7 p.m.: Music by Mis B’ Havin on the Main Street Stage in Knox

Saturday, Aug. 18

6:30 to 9:30 a.m.: Edenburg Lodge Breakfast held at the Lodge building along State Street in Knox

Breakfast features buckwheat pancakes and sausage.

8 a.m.: Knox Lions Club broom sale and raffle

A raffle winner will be pulled at 5 p.m.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Crafter, food and vendor street sales

9 a.m.: Firemen’s Hot Sausage sales on Main Street in Knox

9 a.m.: Tractor show on Main Street in Knox

10 a.m.: Jeep Invasion

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Soap Box Race outside the Knox Borough building

11 a.m.: Mason’s Pulled Pork and Ribs BBQ Dinner

12 to 4 p.m.: American Legion Kiddie Carnival games

12:30 to 3 p.m.: Music by Wheels & Heels

2 to 5 p.m.: Train rides

3 p.m.: Scavenger hunt

3 to 5:30 p.m.: Music by Samantha Sears

5 p.m.: Little Firefighters winners announced

5 p.m.: Horsethief Citizen of the Year and Baby Contest winners announced

5:30 p.m.: Firemen’s Parade on Main Street in Knox

An ice cream social will follow the parade at the Knox United Methodist Church.

6:30 p.m.: Keystone soccer scrimmage at Keystone High School

Concessions will be available during the game.

Sunday, Aug. 19

1 p.m.: Modified and antique tractor pull behind Knox Fire Hall

After dark Aug. 19, Peak Pyro Fireworks will be lit on the Keystone High School football field.

Events Aug. 15 to 18 will include food vendors, a bounce house, a basketball toss, backyard obstacle challenges, games and nightly music.

This schedule is subject to change. Event attendees are asked to bring their own seating. Horsethief shirts can be purchased in Knox at 512 Main, Hobbiest Paradise, KGC Credit Union and the Rod & Gun Club.
