Forest Area budding authors publish book

Through Student Treasures Publishing, Mrs. Alex’’s first-grade class was given the opportunity to publish their own book. Each first grader followed the writing process before writing their final copy and illustrating a picture to accompany their page of the story. On Monday, Nov. 14, students’’ families attended a publishing party where the students shared their final published product, along with cookies and juice. Their published book is called, “”If I Were an Animal.””
