Penn State Extension will offer a food safety workshop for non-profit organizations from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Penn State Extension Office Clarion County, 8 Grant St., Clarion.
The cost is $50 per organization and includes up to four registrants. There is a $5 charge for each additional registrant or $25 per single registrant.

Cost includes the “Cooking for Crowds” publication, thermometer and food safety posters.
Attendees at the Cooking for Crowds workshop will learn what causes food-borne illness, how to prevent food-borne illness and how to start practicing good food safety strategies for their next food fundraiser.
