Fire department holds ‘boot drive’

A generous motorist stops to donate some cash to the Strattanville Volunteer Fire Department April 27 as Patrick Gulnac (let) and Mike Rawson collected donations during the “boot drive.” Also assisting with the two-day event were Nicholas Rawson, Jessica Shearer and Amy Rawson. Local volunteer fire departments can always use donations of cash, but they also need volunteers to join the ranks. Contact your local VFD to see how you can help.
