The Tionesta Lions Club has announced the last dates this year for tours of the Sherman Memorial Lighthouse in Tionesta will be the second Saturdays of September and October: Sept. 9 and Oct. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The lighthouse, built by Jack Sherman, has become a popular go-to destination in northwestern Pennsylvania. All six floors and the basement can be accessed by the 76 spiral stairs.
Admission costs $5 for adults and $2 for children, ages 13 to 18. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
Those who attend the tour can see heirlooms of the Sherman family along with lighthouse memorabilia.
