Envirothon team heading to state competition

West Forest High School’s Envirothon team was recognized at Thursday’s Forest County commissioners meeting for finishing in second place at this year’s tri-county Envirothon at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The team was only eight points away from the top spot and will proceed to the state competition May 23 and 24 at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
