The annual Emlenton Summer Festival 5k Run/Walk is scheduled at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 12 in Hughes Park in Emlenton and registration is set for 7 p.m.
Runners and walkers are both welcome.
This year’s course will be similar to last year’s cemetery trek. You can visit the Facebook event for course details.
If you would like to register, you can go online at runsignup.com and search “Emlenton Summer Festival” or contact Brenda by email at brendabeikert@gmail.com or call (724) 867-0089 for a paper application.
Medals will be awarded to top finishers both male and female in a variety of age categories.
Pre-registration is from now until July 11. Form and payment must be received by that time. The cost of pre-registration is $20 and $25 on the day of registration.
