Vera Heferle and Jacob Glass, seventh-grade East Forest students in Forest Area School District, hosted a soup dinner fundraiser at the MACA building in Marienville as part of their service project for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). The two advertised the event, collected donations, organized soup contributions, helped serve and worked at the fundraiser. They raised more than $900 that will be donated toward the MACA community pool.
