CUP nursing programs earn accreditation

From staff reports

Clarion University of Pennsylvania has earned continued accreditation of its Associate of Science degree in nursing and Bachelor of Science in nursing programs, through 2024.

“Accreditation means that our programs are regularly assessed and meet or exceed the standards set by an independent review board,” said Deborah Kelly, Clarion University nursing department chair and nurse administrator.

“Accreditation is assurance that we are engaged in continuous review and that we are held accountable for achieving our goals. The faculty utilizes the findings of the review to make programmatic changes that meet or exceed the standards set forth by ACEN.”

CUP offers a nursing degree ladder approach, which allows students to begin or continue a nursing career from the associate degree level through the doctorate level.

The nursing faculty consists of experienced educators with expertise in many nursing specialties and share those experiences with you in the classroom.
