Coat donations needed

From staff reports

KNOX – Keystone Coats for Kids was started last year to purchase coats for children in the Keystone School District. The goal was to raise $1,800, enough to purchase 100 coats.

Through the generosity of people and organizations, 270 coats were purchased through Operation Warm.org.

Coats were distributed to Keystone, Allegheny-Clarion Valley and Clarion Area school districts as well as Head Start programs, day care facilities, Clarion County Promise, Clarion County Children and Youth Services, SMILES and Next Step Therapy.

This year’s goal is to include all the schools in Clarion County. Anyone who is interested in donating to this great cause can do so by mailing a check payable to “Keystone Coats for Kids,” to Farmers National Bank, P.O. Box 665, Knox, 16232; or dropped off at this location or at Knox Auto Supply in Knox or New Bethlehem.

All donations go toward the purchase of these coats.
