Clarion River Jam Bluegrass Festival set March 10-12

The annual Clarion River Jam Bluegrass Festival, which raises funds for the United Way of Clarion, will be held March 10-12 at Ramada by Wyndham in Clarion.

The three-day event features concerts by local and regional bluegrass musicians, jam sessions, various vendors and more.

The event kicks off Friday, March 10, with Breakline performing at 5 p.m. followed by Gravel Lick, Tug Creek, The Keister Family Band, Kickin’ Grass and Steve Ludwig and the Casual Hobos.

Eleven bands will perform Saturday, March 11, starting at noon, with Landline Bluegrass. Other performers include East of Enon, Echo Valley, Well Strung, Better Late, Homegrown Grass, Hidden Drive, Keister Family Band, Middleground, Canoe Ridge and Matthew Efaw & Rural Free Delivery.

The event wraps up Sunday, March 12, with a gospel worship jam led by Dan Hulse that starts at 10 a.m.

Various food and drink vendors will be on hand during the weekend.

Admission is by donation at the door, and all proceeds will benefit the United Way of Clarion County.

Ramada by Wyndham is located at 45 Holiday Inn Road in Clarion.
