Clarion River bluegrass festival returns

After a two-year hiatus, the Clarion River Jam Bluegrass Festival is back.

Concerts will run from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, March 11, and from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 12. A gospel jam will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 13.

The festival will be held at Ramada by Wyndham, 45 Holiday Inn Road, Clarion.

Admission is by donation at the door, and all proceeds benefit the United Way of Clarion County.

Besides concerts, the festival features jam sessions, vendors, and more.

Friday’s featured bands are Cattywampus at 6 p.m., Tug Creek, 7 p.m.; Gravel Lick, 8 p.m.; Hidden Drive, 9 p.m.; and the Keister Family Band, 10 p.m.

Saturday has a full lineup featuring Better Late at noon, Echo Valley, 1 p.m.; Kickin Grass, 2 p.m.; East of Enon, 3 p.m.; Steve Ludwig and the Casual Hobos, 4 p.m.; Homegrown Grass, 5 p.m.; Middleground, 6 p.m.; Pyxus, 7 p.m.; the Keister Family Band, 8 p.m.; Bits ‘N Pieces, 9 p.m.; and Matt Efaw and RFD, 10 p.m.
