Clarion County SAFE receives grant

From staff reports

CLARION – Clarion County Stop Abuse for Everyone was awarded a grant from the Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation in Pittsburgh.

The grant was used to replace the main entrance door, code door locks on all doors, and upgrade the security system and to purchase food for the emergency shelter.
“SAFE is grateful for this generous grant to make these necessary upgrades and assist victims of domestic violence,” said Jennifer L. Hurrelbrink, SAFE fiscal administrative supervisor.

SAFE received notification of the award in June and the security upgrades were completed on July 5.
