CLARION – The Clarion County Planning Commission on Wednesday gave Miles Brothers LLC preliminary approval for a proposed 12,600-square-foot industrial building in Clarion Borough.
American Precast Industries is constructing a state-of-the-art, precast manufacturing facility to produce both Redi-Rock and Pole Base products in Clarion Borough.
Miles Brothers purchased the 28-acre site on Grand Avenue that once housed part of the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant and unveiled plans for a seven-pad Glassworks Business Park in 2016.
The American Precast Industries facility will be the first official tenant at the site.
Redi-Rock is a “21st century precast modular block retention product.” The product has an “integrated system to solve the challenges of constructing sustainable retaining walls.”
Production is expected to begin this fall.
