Dean Straffin (pictured above), a retired Clarion University anthropology professor, said a couple showed up from overseas a few years ago at his Red Cannon Antiques shop in Shippenville, and the three became friends. Each year they stop and Straffin and his neighbors have a party and show the couple, who are antiques dealers, some of their old cars. They planned a show Wednesday, and about 20 cars were shown. Straffin also took many of the guests on a tour of his shop with his vast collection of antique cars, including several World War II vehicles. (By Richard Sayer)
