C-L students place 3rd in competition

Clarion-Limestone High School gifted students Madison Aaron, Ella Aaron, Logan Meier and Jack Craig placed third in the state in the recent “Power Pittsburgh” competition at Acrisure Stadium. The “Tomorrow Team” developed a plan to help Pittsburgh through its economy and environment that explains hydrothermal oxidation and how it would benefit Acrisure Stadium and the city of Pittsburgh. They projected their idea via a 10-minute presentation by developing, displaying and describing a detailed scale model of the plan. The team also placed first in the regional competition at the local intermediate unit in order to advance to the finals in Pittsburgh.
