Access device fraud runs rampant

There have been multiple cases of access device fraud at Walmarts between April 27 and May 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Clarion state police said someone used the debit card number of a 54-year-old man to make a purchase at the Grove City Walmart on April 27 at 7:21 p.m.

Franklin state police reported three additional cases of access device fraud.

A 29-year-old woman, a 58-year-old man and a 64-year-old man each reported fraudulent charges on their bank accounts from various Walmarts in Pennsylvania, police said.

The woman was victimized May 1 and the men both were victimized on May 3, all at unknown times, police said.
