From staff reports

CLARION – Work is expected to begin in March on a project to replace a bridge on Route 58 in Licking Township, Clarion County, PennDOT announced Monday.

The Callensburg No. 1 bridge carrying Route 58 over the Clarion River is expected to close at the end of March and a detour will be in place. It is anticipated that the new bridge will be built and open to traffic by the end of October, PennDOT said.

The detour uses Route 58, Route 368 and Route 268.

This $5.1 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo and is expected to be completed in November.
