Woman accused of assault

A Clarion woman has been accused of assaulting her boyfriend and damaging police property.

Clarion state police said Kayla M. Custer, 30, was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. March 17 when she resisted being placed in handcuffs and being placed into a police cruiser.
Custer then damaged property owned by state police while waiting at the barracks, police said.

Custer was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, institutional vandalism and criminal mischief, police said.
