The Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association Hospice Program is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to serve as volunteers.
Volunteers are part of an integrated health care team that strives to ensure the highest quality of life possible for persons with life limiting illnesses.
Training program participants will learn the philosophy of hospice care and the hospice team approach, communication skills, concepts of death, dying and grief, spiritual bereavement support concepts and specific roles of hospice volunteers.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a hospice volunteer, please plan to attend our hospice volunteer orientation from 9 a.m. to noon on March 4 and 5 at Clarion Forest VNA, 271 Perkins Road, Clarion.
