The call came in at about 3 p.m. Jan. 25 for a vehicle on fire and endangering a building. It turned out to be a Jeep in flames at the entrance of the Quality Inn at Exit 62 in Monroe Township. The crew from Clarion Fire and Hose Co. No. 1 had it extinguished in short order. State police have not issued a report on the incident.
