Union students get free eye exams

Union School District kindergarten students participated in a free eye screening program conducted by the Rimersburg Lions Club at Sligo Elementary School. The screening, performed with a technologically-advanced camera system purchased by the Lions Club, can detect 5 different types of eye defects. Parents are notified of the testing results, as well as the school nurse.
