Bonny Shade, a survivor of sexual assault by her close college friend, will present “Just Another Assault” at 7 p.m. Thursday in Hart Chapel at Clarion University.
The event is free and open to the public.
In her program, Shade takes an in-depth look at issues surrounding assault, rape culture and healing.
She describes how her personal journey has involved understanding acquaintance-based assaults, post-traumatic stress disorder, and sharing her experience to help others find the truth in their own.
